BSAC offers a wide-range of opportunities for students and faculty including bursaries and scholarships, mentoring, a newsletter publication, and social events. Adsum House: An emergency shelter for homeless and transient women 16 years of age and over and their children. Email: Avalon Centre Halifax Sexaul Health Clinic (formerly Planned Parenthood Metro Clinic): Provides sexual and reproductive health care. Services include: pregnancy tests, free condoms, birth control, screening and testing for sexually transmitted infections, abortion counselling and referral, anonymous HIV tests, the Morning After Pill, and Pap tests.
